2024 Side Letter of Agreement
City of Pleasant Hill and Professional and Confidential Employees Updating the PACE Salary Schedule
(Salary Survey Implementation)
I. Parties
The Parties to this Side Letter of Agreement (herein after “Side Letter”) are City of Pleasant Hill (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) and Professional And Confidential Employees (hereinafter referred to as “PACE”).
II. Background
The Parties are the signatories to a 2023-2026 Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as the “MOU”) setting forth terms and conditions of employment for certain City employees within PACE.
The parties agreed to conduct a Salary Survey and then to meet-and-confer over the results of that Salary Survey. This Side Letter of Agreement is the result of the parties meeting and conferring and satisfies their obligations as agreed to in the MOU.
As such, the following amends the existing MOU. The Parties agree as follows:
III. MOU Amendments
A. For Purposes of the MOU amendments set forth below, language that is overstruck (e.g. overstruck) will be omitted from the MOU. Language that is italicized and boldfaced will be added to the MOU as indicated. The existing MOU will, in all other respects, remain in effect without change through the new term specified.
B. Exhibit A will be amended as follows:

IV. General Provisions
A. This Side Letter of Agreement will take effect July 1, 2024, upon approval and adoption by the City Council.
B. The written terms herein embody the entire Side Letter of Agreement between the Parties.
In witness hereof, this Side Letter of Agreement was approved and adopted by a vote of the Pleasant Hill City Council on _________________________, 2024.
