RESOLUTION NO. - 24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
HOLISTIC SOLUTIONS, LLC FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION STRATEGIC
PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSULTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City desires to be the Employer of Choice in Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS, the City desires to develop a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategic plan to create an employee-centered environment in which staff feels empowered to be their authentic selves allowing them to unlock their full potential and excel in their individual roles; and WHEREAS, the City interviewed multiple consultants and found that Holistic Solutions LLC., was the best fit for the City due to their written proposal, qualifications, data driven methods and cost of services;
WHEREAS, the City has selected Holistic Solutions LLC., to assist in the development of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategic plan and to provide training and consulting services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement (Exhibit 1) with Holistic Solutions, LLC for consulting and training services to aid in the development of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategic plan and training not to exceed $90,000.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill at a regular meeting of the Council held on the 7th day of October, 2024, by the following vote:
