A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH AVI-SPL, INC. TO PURCHASE AND REPLACE THREE WIRELESS MICROPHONES IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS UTILIZING PEG FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City desires to replace the three wireless microphones in the City Council Chambers that are experiencing intermittent signal loss; and WHEREAS, AVI-SPL, Inc. is a leader in the audio/video industry that serves over 86% of Fortune 500 companies; and
WHEREAS, the replacement microphones will be used to support City government broadcasting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Public Utilities Code Section 5870, the purchase of equipment for government programming use is eligible to be funded by Public, Educational and Government Access (PEG) Funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill appropriates budget in the PEG Fund for $17,126.74 and authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with AVI-SPL, Inc. not to exceed that amount for the purchase and replacement of three wireless microphones in the Council Chambers.
