TITLE: ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. ___ AMENDING PLEASANT HILL
MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 18.20.095, ACCESSORY DWELLING
UNITS
SYNOPSIS
An amendment to the existing Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance, Section 18.20.095 of the Pleasant Hill Municipal Code, is proposed that will modify existing provisions to comply with recent changes to state law that impose new limits on local authority to regulate Accessory Dwelling Units (“ADUs”) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (“JADUs”), and to incorporate new ADU development standards for newly created Zoning Districts. The proposed ordinance was introduced at a public hearing held on April 7, 2025, and is now submitted for a second reading and consideration for adoption
