RESOLUTION NO. ___-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
APPROVING THE UPDATED LONG-TERM FINANCIAL PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 THROUGH FISCAL YEAR 2028/2029
WHEREAS, when the City Council updated its goals in September 2013, it also adopted the objective to “establish a long-term financial plan” as part of the goal of a “City that is financially sound;” and
WHEREAS, the City published its first Long-Term Financial Plan (LTFP) in August 2015; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the LTFP is to create awareness regarding the financial challenges and opportunities that the City could possibly face and to inform the City’s financial and operational decision-making, in order to account for such possibilities; and WHEREAS, the City staff worked with the Budget Committee to identify the major challenges and opportunities that the City is likely to face in the future in the Long-Term Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 through Fiscal Year 2028/2029 in early 2024; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Long-Term Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 through Fiscal Year 2028/2029 on May 20, 2024 to be updated in 2025; and WHEREAS, the Budget Committee reviewed the Updated Long-Term Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 through Fiscal Year 2028/2029 on June 4, 2025, and recommended the City Council accept the plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that the Updated Long-Term Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 through 2028/2029 is hereby approved.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of June, 2025, by the following vote:
