RESOLUTION NO. ___-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSITION 4 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill is required to establish the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit pursuant to Article XIII B of the California Constitution for Fiscal Year 2025/2026; and
WHEREAS, the population of Contra Costa County grew 0.00% in 2024 and the State per capita personal income grew 6.44%; and
WHEREAS, the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 was calculated to be $38,910,636; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2025/2026 revenues that represent the proceeds from taxes covered by the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit are projected to be $9,260,594 below the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, bythe City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, that the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 is $41,416,481.
