RESOLUTION NO. - 25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH RINGCENTRAL, INC. FOR HOSTED VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL SERVICES WHEREAS, the City desires to replace its existing phone system, which will no longer be supported by the manufacturer; and
WHEREAS, the City has selected the RingCentral Hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services as a result of a rigorous and competitive selection process; and WHEREAS, RingCentral is utilized by over 400,000 organizations worldwide and by many municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the switch from AT&T, the City’s current telecommunications provider, to RingCentral will provide the City with the latest telephony functions and features while still remaining cost-neutral;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached (Exhibit A) three-year agreement with RingCentral, Inc. for its hosted Voice over Internet Protocol services in the amount not to exceed $80,136.00.
