RESOLUTION NO. -25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CONTRA COSTA CERTIFIED FARMERS’ MARKETS (CCCFM) TO OPERATE THE PLEASANT HILL FARMERS’ MARKET FROM MAY 2026 TO APRIL 2029 WHEREAS, the City recognized the importance of having a vibrant farmers’ market that is a positive reflection of the Pleasant Hill community; and WHEREAS, CCCFM was established in 1982 and currently operates farmers’ markets in the cities of Walnut Creek and Orinda; and
WHEREAS, CCCFM is committed to diverse and high-quality produce and food products and will ensure there are a variety of certified and non-certified producers in attendance each week of the market.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto (Exhibit A), with the Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets (CCCFM) to operate and manage the Downtown Pleasant Hill Farmers’ Market on Trelany Road starting May 2, 2026, running year-round on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and ending April 28, 2029.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill at a regular meeting held on this 3rd day of November 2025, by the following vote:
