APPENDIX B
DISCLOSURE CATEGORIES (2026)
As part of the Conflict of Interest Code of the City of Pleasant Hill, the designated positions listed in Appendix B are assigned to one or more of the following disclosure categories. Each holder of a designated position shall file an annual statement (Form 700) disclosing that individual’s interest in investments, business positions, real property, and income, designated as reportable under that category to which the office or position is assigned as follows:
An investment, business position, interest in real property, or income is reportable if the business entity in which the investment or business position is held, the interest in real property, or the income or source of income may foreseeably be affected materially by any decision made or participated in by the holder of the designated position, or by virtue of the designated position held by that individual.
Category A
Holders of designated positions subject to Category A must report:
All interests in real property in the City of Pleasant Hill, and any real property outside of Pleasant Hill if it is within one mile (as measured in a straight line) from the closest City of Pleasant Hill boundary.
Category B
Holders of designated positions subject to Category B must report:
All investments and business positions in business entities located in the City of Pleasant Hill, and all sources of personal and business entity income that are received from persons and business entities located in the City of Pleasant Hill, or doing business in the City of Pleasant Hill.
Category C
Holders of designated positions subject to Category C must report:
All investments and business positions in business entities in the construction or building industry which are doing business within the City of Pleasant Hill.
Category D
Holders of designated positions subject to Category D must report:
All investments and business positions in business entities and sources of personal and business entity income that are received from persons and business entities which contract with or sell to the City of Pleasant Hill.
Category E
Holders of designated positions subject to Category E must report:
Each management position or employment in a business entity located in or doing business in the City of Pleasant Hill or contracting with or selling to the City of Pleasant Hill.
