RESOLUTION NO. ______-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSITION 4 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill is required to establish the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit pursuant to Article XIII B of the California Constitution for Fiscal Year 2026/2027; and
WHEREAS, the population of Contra Costa County grew 0.62% in 2025 and the State per capita personal income grew 4.95%; and
WHEREAS, the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 was calculated to be $41,416,481; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2026/2027 revenues that represent the proceeds from taxes covered by the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit are projected to be $11,508,359 below the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, that the Proposition 4 Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 is $43,736,090.
