A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL ACCEPTING THE 2025 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT NO. 03-25 AS COMPLETE
AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ISSUE AND RECORD A
NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, the 2025 Street Resurfacing Project No. 03-25 provides for pavement rehabilitation and striping of various City streets within Residential Zones 15 and 18 in the City of Pleasant Hill; and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to MCK Services, Inc., to perform work described in the contract documents entitled “2025 Street Resurfacing Project No. 03-25”; and
WHEREAS, the work has been performed to the satisfaction of the City, and MCK Services, Inc., is requesting final payment for the completed work; and WHEREAS, the California Public Contract Code requires the City to notify the public of acceptance of a project prior to making final payment:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill that, all project streets identified on the Project List of Streets (Exhibit 1) are subject to a five-year street pavement moratorium effective the date of this resolution; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to execute a Notice of Completion and record it with the Office of the Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, within ten (10) days from the date hereof, ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of July, 2026, by the following vote:
