A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH CSG CONSULTANTS FOR TEMPORARY PLANNING SERVICES WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill provides Planning services throughout the City of Pleasant Hill; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant Hill Planning Division includes Code Enforcement Services, Housing Services, and recently added Sustainable Services activities; and WHEREAS, the fulltime Senior Planner for the City of Pleasant Hill will have an extended temporary leave of absence from August 2026 through February 2027; and WHEREAS, in anticipation of this extended absence, as part of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget, the Planning Division included, and the City Council approved, a budget line item to provide for $150,000 for Planning consultant services; and WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to nine planning consultant firms; and
WHEREAS, CSG Consultants has submitted a proposal to the City of Pleasant Hill, which is complete and acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill authorizes the City Manager to execute the Professional Services Agreement attached as Exhibit 1 for the scope of temporary planning services with CSG Consultants in an amount not to exceed $150,000 (Exhibit 2).
