OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE FROM
SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2026, IN ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
SYNOPSIS
The League of California Cities’ Annual Conference occurs September 23-25, 2026, in Anaheim, California. An important part of conference is the General Assembly meeting, during which League membership considers and acts on resolutions that establish League policy. Consistent with the League’s bylaws, a City’s voting delegate (and up to two alternates) must be designated by the City Council to vote at the General Assembly meeting. Cal Cities received one general resolution by its July 25 deadline, though the Assembly may also consider petitioned resolutions introduced during the annual conference. The General Assembly will convene to consider one general resolution and any qualified petitioned resolutions on September 25.
DISCUSSION
Background

Voting delegates and any alternates must be registered to attend the conference. Both Vice Mayor Andrei Obolenskiy and Councilmember La are registered to attend this year’s League Conference.
