2026 GENERAL PLAN LAND USE STUDY SESSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Pleasant Hill that the City Council will conduct a Study Session to provide an update, invite public input and to provide direction to Staff regarding potential additional General Plan Amendments beyond what was recently completed as part of General Plan 2040. This Study Session is a follow up and update from the March 16, 2026 City Council hearing where the City Council directed staff to follow up with the State of California Housing and Community Development Department related to potential land use modifications that were originally made as part of Ordinance No. 978, which amended the City’s Municipal Code Title 18, Planning and Land Use, in its entirety and amended the Zoning Map to include the rezoning of 1,072 parcels throughout the city for consistency with the 2040 General Plan and 2023-2031 Housing Element.
