Dear Mr. Zabinsky,
Here is Point Arena's report for the month of May 2023. The plant wasn't in compliance with all discharge requirements. Our "TSS" was 3.6 mg/l over our Monthly average. The plant experienced an upset due to low Oxygen in the Primary Lagoon. I put two mixers in a few months ago and stopped using the aerators to try to get better effluent results. When it's raining, we were fine, but since it quit, we now need to run one aerator to keep enough oxygen in lagoon to keep bugs happy. Please call me if you need more information. During this month we have maintained the required freeboard, at all times, in all of our percolation ponds.
There were no blockages or overflows in the collection system during the month of May 2023.
