I. CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
Point Arena City Council met at 451 School Street, Point Arena, for a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Mayor Burkey called the meeting to order at 6:02 pm; and roll call was conducted:
Councilmembers Present: Mayor Barbara Burkey, Vice Mayor Anna Dobbins, Councilmembers Jim Koogle, Jeff Hansen & Dan Doyle
Administrative Staff Present: Interim City Manager Peggy Ducey, City Attorney Richard Pio Roda and Interim Finance Director Joe Arch.
II. READING
Poet Laureate Blake More presented a new work.
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion to approve agenda by Councilmember Hansen, Seconded by Councilmember Dobbins. Motion passed unanimously.
IV. MAYOR’S REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Burkey reported on EDFC.
V. COUNCIL REPORTS

VI. PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR (PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD)
Jennifer Smallwood, Richey Wasserman, and Barbara Burkey addressed the City Council VII. CONSENT CALENDAR
A) Approve City Council Meeting Minutes of February 2, 2027 Motion to approve consent calendar by Councilmember Doyle, Seconded by Councilmember Dobbins. Motion passed unanimously.
VIII. REPORTS/ACTION ITEMS
A) Adopt Resolution 2023-03 Authorizing the Signature Authority for the City Motion to Approve Resolution 2023-03 by Councilmember Doyle, Seconded by Councilmember Hansen. Motion passed unanimously.
B) Approve Conversion of Line of Credit to a Note Due to Redwood Credit Union Direction was provided by Council to research options for disposition of the city-owned building at 247 Main Street.

Motion to file transaction reports pending additional information and approve mid-year budget review by Councilmember Doyle, Seconded by Councilmember Hansen. Motion passed unanimously.
