VI PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR (Public Comment Period)
This is the time for members of the public who wish to be heard on matters that do not appear on the Agenda. City Council policy is to limit each speaker to three (3) minutes. Pursuant to the Brown Act Section 54954.3, the City Council may not take action on an item that does not appear on the Agenda. The public will be allowed to speak concurrently with the calling of an agenda item following the staff presentation of that item.

VIII PUBLIC HEARING – Public hearings are generally scheduled for a time certain of 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter, unless noticed otherwise.
A) Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 243 Updating City of Point Arena General Plan Policies and Zoning Code Regulations to Implement State Housing Laws, Streamline Permitting Procedures, Modify Development Standards to Encourage More Housing Development, and Reorganize the Zoning Ordinance; Adopt General Plan Amendment #2024-01; Authorize Submittal of LCP Amendment Application Recommended Action:
1) Determine proper notice
2) Discuss LCP Amendment LCP #1-24; GP #2024-01; OA #2024-01 3) Open the public hearing and take public comment
4) Waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 243 5) Approve Resolution No. 2024-06.
