B. Jennifer Smallwood of the Point Arena Fire Safe Council provided an update on activities.

V. CITY MANAGER/CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS
Security of the City Hall and the Pier has become a concern, to mitigate this issue plans to install high visibility cameras are underway.

A. APPROVE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF OCTOBER 22, 2024 B. RESOLUTION 2024-29 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POINT ARENA AUTHORIZING THE
SIGNATURE AUTHORITY FOR THE CITY OF POINT ARENA BANK ACCOUNT Motion to approve Consent Calendar by Councilmember Koogle, seconded by Councilmember Doyle.
Motion passed unanimously 5-0.
VII. REPORTS & ACTION ITEMS
A. RECEIVE AND FILE REPORT ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SKATEPARK IN THE POINT ARENA
DOWNTOWN PARK AND PROVIDE DIRECTION TO CITY STAFF REGARDING DESIGNATING CITY PARK
LAND FOR SKATEPARK

B. AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH DARK GULCH LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,400 TO COMPLETE ALL AGENCY PERMITTING FOR THE POINT ARENA COVE PIER PROJECT AND $5,000 TO COMPLETE BIOLOGICAL REPORT FOR THE POINT ARENA COVE PIER PROJECT FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $37,400
Motion to adopt contract by Vice Mayor Dobbins, seconded by Councilmember Koogle 4-1 with Mayor Burkey voting against.
C. APPROVE INTERIM CITY MANAGER CONTRACT
Motion to approve contract by Councilmember Koogle, seconded by Councilmember Hansen. Motion passed unanimously 5-0.
D. APPROVE REQUEST FOR BIDS - POINT ARENA JIB CRANE HOIST AND TROLLEY REPLACEMENT
PROJECT
Motion to approve contract by Vie Mayor Dobbins, seconded by Councilmember Doyle. Motion passed unanimously 5-0.
E. APPROVE GRANT APPLICATION TO CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FISH & WILDLIFE Motion to approve contract by Councilmember Doyle, seconded by Councilmember Hansen. Motion passed unanimously 5-0.
