Here is Point Arena's report for the month of May 2025. The plant wasn't in compliance with all discharge requirements. We exceeded our "TSS" monthly average of 50mg/l, we ended up with
59.75mg/l. 9.75mg/l over our limit. Algae is the problem with our "TSS", which happens every year at this time. We have sprayed both lagoons and have added Lyme for control. We are going to spray Argos on Lagoons next week. Our numbers are slowly going down and after spraying again we hope to be back in compliance. Feel free to call if you have any questions. During this month we have maintained the required freeboard, at all times, in all of our percolation ponds.
There were no blockages or overflows in the collection system during the month of May 2025.
