1 Agreement with Coastal Seniorsfor Use of Veteran’s Building Approve agreement with Coastal Seniors and authorize City Manager to execute Agreement.
The Veteran’s Hall Facility Lease Agreement between the Coastal Seniors and the City of Point Arena expires July 31, 2025. Staff recommends City Council approve a new lease agreement, effective August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2028.
Currently, the Coastal Seniors pay $1,200 per month for the use of the kitchen facilities and administrative offices. They are also responsible for a percentage of Electricity, Water, and Propane costs. Staff is not recommending any increases in rent or utility charges.
$14,400 in rental revenue and approximately $600.00 per month in utility costs.
