RESOLUTION NO. 2025-15
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POINT ARENA ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE 2025 SALARY SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on October 28, 2014, the City Council of the City of Point Arena adopted the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations; and ,
WHEREAS, these Personnel Rules and Regulations require the City to adopt a Classification and Compensation system for the City; and
WHEREAS, the Point Arena City Council last adopted its Compensation Schedule in January, 2025 which reflected additional job classifications that were previously filled by higher cost consultants; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to add one temporary, part-time position for an IT Specialist; and WHEREAS, as temporary, part-time employees, this position is at a lower hourly rate than previous consultants and will not receive benefits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Point Arena hereby approves the Compensation Schedule to be effective July 22, 2025.
