Here is Point Arena's report for the month of August 2025. The plant wasn't in compliance witk all discharge requirements. We exceeded our monthly average of 50mg/1 on our "TSS", we ended up with 73mg/l. 23 mg/l over our limit. Algae has been the problem with our TSS, which happens every year at this time. We have sprayed both lagoons and have added Lyme for control.
It's getting better now that we have duckweed on the lagoon shading it from the UV's. Feel free to call if you have any questions. During this month we have maintained the required freeboard, at all times, in all of our percolation ponds.
There were no blockages or overflows in the collection system during the month of August 2025.
