Monthly Department Report
Prepared By: Scott Schnell

SUMMARY
Code enforcement activity during this reporting period reflects a steady level of compliance monitoring, with continued attention to property maintenance, unpermitted work, and right-of-way issues. A total of two complaints were received this month and thirteen year-to-date, with cases ranging from active and pending investigations to a small number resolved through voluntary compliance and one resolved through enforcement action year-to-date. Vegetation and debris-related issues, unpermitted work, and isolated zoning or right-of-way concerns remain the most common complaint types. Follow-up inspections continue at a consistent level to ensure compliance, with ten conducted year-to-date, and no referrals to legal counsel or outside agencies required during this period. Notable activity included ongoing vegetation enforcement across multiple properties, resolution of a long-standing business license issue, continued monitoring of a construction project under stop-work status pending permit renewal, and coordination on removal of trees within the public right-of-way.
