Attached are Point Arena’s June 2026 Monthly Report, the updated May DMR, and the Annual Report for the Point Arena Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The plant remained in compliance with all discharge requirements during June 2026. Throughout the month, the required freeboard was maintained at all times in all percolation ponds.
There were no blockages or sanitary sewer overflows within the collection system during June 2026.
The Soldani Spring Box was dry throughout June 2026; therefore, no sampling was conducted.
Testing will resume if water becomes present in the spring box.
On May 12, 2026, we experienced an issue with the chlorine mixer, resulting in chlorine residual levels that were too high for the laboratory to obtain a valid BOD result for that sample. This incident also contributed to the elevated TSS result observed during that sampling period.
