RESOLUTION NO. 2022-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2021-22 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING and transferring $49,710 FROM THE SAFE CLEAN WATER PROGRAM (MEASURE W) MUNICIPAL PROGRAM FUND TO THE STATE GAS TAX RMRA FUND by amending revenue estimates AND A corresponding APPROPRIATION for the same amount WHEREAS, in November 2018, Measure W (now “Safe Clean Water Program”) was approved by Los Angeles County voters to improve water quality in a manner that achieves additional benefits such as increasing water supply and investing in the health and well-being of Los Angeles County communities; WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the FY 2021-22 Operating Budget by transferring $49,710 from available Safe Clean Water Program tax revenue to the State Gas Tax RMRA Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2021-22 Operating Budget by appropriating $49,710 of Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) Municipal Program fund (142-8130-89930-00000) and transferring these funds to the State Gas Tax RMRA Fund (206). This action will also increase revenue estimates and a corresponding appropriation (206-2520-52285-00000) in the same amount in the State Gas Tax RMRA Fund (206-2520-80708-00000) to pay for the sidewalk and street repairs associated with tree root damage that was initially funded out of State Gas Tax RMRA fund.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
