The system also hosts Subscriber Members, who do not own their infrastructure and who enter agreements with Governance Members to employ the ICI Network as their public safety radio system.
The initial subscriber agreement entered with Cal Poly iniciated in March 16, 2009, it established the operability requirements and granted Cal Poly access to the Pomona Police Department’s wireless communication system for a five-year period. Cal Poly has expressed its desire to continue using the Pomona Police Department’s radio system. Under the License Agreement (Attachment no.1), Cal Poly anticipates operating 115 Subscriber Radios.
