RESOLUTION NO. 2022-45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2021-22 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget by closing completed projects, releasing $830,982 OF UNEXPENDED FUNDS, re-appropriating $682,312 OF unexpended funds, and creating a new project “VPD - Parking Lots Rehabilitation II,” Project no. 428-2590-xxxxx-71081 WHEREAS, the projects listed in the attached “Exhibit A, Section 1” are included in the FY 2021-22 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close six completed CIP Projects and release the unexpended funds totaling $830,982, as detailed in the attached “Exhibit A, Section 1”; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create a new project, “VPD - Parking Lots Rehabilitation II,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71081; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to re-appropriate $682,312 of VPD and Measure R funds, and Series “BI (AX/AI)” Bond Proceeds as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 2.” NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2021-22 CIP Budget by closing the six CIP Projects as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 1”, attached hereto, and releasing/unappropriating $830,982 of unexpended VPD, Measure R, Los Angeles County Reimbursement, Series “BI (AX/AI)” Bond Proceeds, and Active Transportation Program Cycle 1 Grant funding as detailed in “Exhibit A, Section 1;” and SECTION 2 That the City Council amends the FY 2021-22 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “VPD - Parking Lots Rehabilitation II,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71081; and SECTION 3. That the City Council amends the FY 2021-22 CIP Budget by appropriating funding to four CIP Projects as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 2”, attached hereto; and SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
