RESOLUTION NO. 2022-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2021-22 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $172,941 AND ACCEPT FUNDS FROM THE LA COUNTY ELDERLY NUTRITION GRANT PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $172,941 WHEREAS, the City’s Elderly Nutrition Program continues to provide free, nutritious meals to senior adults and adults with disabilities; and, WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) provided the City initial reimbursement-based grant funding to the Elderly Nutrition Program in the amount of $55,000 and has since changed to $227,941, thereby increasing total revenue and appropriations by $172,941 in FY 2021-22; and, WHEREAS, the FY 2021-22 Operating Budget currently includes County provided grant revenue and expenditures for the Elderly Nutrition Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council accepts the County of Los Angeles WDACS allocation of the remaining amount of $172,941 for FY 2021-22 for the Elderly Nutrition Program.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2021-22 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates (226-4190-40857-00000) in the amount of $172,941 and increasing appropriations (226-4190-52351-00000) in the same amount.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
