RESOLUTION NO. 2022-60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2021-22 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW CIP PROJECT, “POMONA TRANSIT CENTER ADA IMPROVEMENTS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67938 AND BY APPROPRIATING $600,000 OF GENERAL FUND RESERVES TO THE NEW PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council is prescribed the authority by Charter of the City of Pomona (City) to adopt and amend the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to bring the Pomona Transit Center into compliance with the ADA Act per the terms of the Settlement Agreement under the Americans with Disabilities Act between the United States of America and the City of Pomona, DJ # 204-12C-487, USAO # 2017V02124; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2021-22 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “Pomona Transit Center ADA Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67938 and by appropriating $600,000 of General Fund reserves (101-2590-89987-67938, 428-2590-80701-67938, and 428-2590-66196-67938) to the new project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2021-22 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “Pomona Transit Center ADA Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67938, and by appropriating $600,000 of General Fund reserves (101-2590-89987-67938, 428-2590-80701-67938, 428-2590-66196-67938) to “Pomona Transit Center ADA Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67938, as presented in Attachment No. 2.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
