Donations will be used to provide promotional materials to youth in attendance. This will provide youth with pens, stickers, notepads, t-shirts and drawstring bags. Beyond promotional materials, this donation will help for us to pay for the operations of the day including snack tables, drink stations, and food/drink for the various resource in attendance.

the sponsorship will be used to bring entertainment and activities to families and children at MLK Park for this traditional celebration. Many Latino/a/x families know this cultural celebration that honors children and highlights the rights that children have in our society. This event is for families and community members and its' a cultural celebration of children at one of Pomona's local parks. We will have a mercadito with youth vendors as well as local organizations hosting activities. * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? This is a cultural activity and we hope that it becomes a tradition. Children and childhood deserve to be celebrated. After almost two years of limited social interaction that negatively impacted children and their social development we find it fitting to bring this Latino celebration to our community for everyone to appreciate and take part in. We hope that children, youth, and families experience a day dedicated to them and planned with the needs of all children in mind, including abilities.
