RESOLUTION NO. 2022-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP A AND B EMPLOYEES BY ADDING ASSISTANT CITY CLERK, RECLASSIFYING DEPUTY CITY MANAGER AND DELETING EXECUTIVE ASSSISTANT AND SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and assign salary scales/ranges to the Compensation Plan for Executive Management Group A and B Employees (A-B Plan) of the City of Pomona; WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to amend the staffing allocations; WHEREAS, on February 28, 2022 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2022-36 amending the A-B Plan; WHEREAS, on June 6, 2022, the City Council will adopt the Fiscal Year 2022-23 City of Pomona Operating Budget, which includes authorized staffing levels; and WHEREAS, in order to meet department staffing needs, the City Council desires to amend Appendix A of the aforementioned Plan by the actions provided herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes changes to be made to Appendix A of the A-B Plan by adding the classification of Assistant City Clerk, reclassifying Deputy City Manager to salary range EA-096, and deleting the classifications of Executive Assistant and Senior Administrative Assistant to the CC as shown below:

SECTION 2. That any portion of previously adopted resolutions concerning salaries inconsistent with this Resolution shall be deemed repealed.
SECTION 3. The action approved herein shall become effective July 3, 2022.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
