RESOLUTION NO. 2022-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP A AND B EMPLOYEES BY LOWERING THE SALARY RANGE FOR HUMAN RESOURCES/RISK MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and assign salary scales/ranges to the Compensation Plan for Executive Management Group A and B Employees (A-B Plan) of the City of Pomona; WHEREAS, on June 6, 2022 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2022-98 amending the A-B Plan; WHEREAS, on June 6, 2022, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-23 City of Pomona Operating Budget, which includes the salary ranges for authorized staff; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Appendix A of the aforementioned Plan by the actions provided herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes changes to be made to Appendix A of the A-B Plan by lowering the salary range of Human Resources/Risk Management Director as shown below:

SECTION 2. That any portion of previously adopted resolutions concerning salaries inconsistent with this Resolution shall be deemed repealed.
SECTION 3. The salary marked with strikethrough shall remain in effect until August 27, 2022. The action approved herein shall become effective August 28, 2022.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
