RESOLUTION NO. 2022-136
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED STAFFING IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET TO ADD ONE (1) POSITION IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, on June 6, 2022, the City Council adopted the operating budget of the City of Pomona for Fiscal Year 2022-23, which approved revenue estimates, appropriations, and staffing levels for all departments and divisions within the General Fund and all operating funds; and WHEREAS, the City received funding from the State of California Department of Resources, Recycling, and Recovery (CalRecycle) SB 1383 Local Assistance Grant Program in the amount of $214,282 to assist with SB 1383 compliance; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend the FY 2022-23 authorized staffing by adding a Management Analyst dedicated to SB 1383 compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the authorized departmental staffing as follows:
Add one (1) Management Analyst position at salary scale MC-063 in the Public Works Department.
SECTION 2. That the City Council amend the Fiscal Year 2022-23 City operating budget to reflect additional appropriations required for this action as set forth below:

*Funding is being appropriated as part of Resolution No. 2022-135. Remaining grant funding will be allocated to fund materials, supplies, and outreach efforts.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
