Subject: Public Hearing to Establish a Preferential Parking District Stanton Street between Harrison Ave. to Edwin Ave., including Jason Court, Rex Court and Sterling Street Dear Resident:
This letter is to inform you that the City is proceeding with the implementation of the Preferential Parking District on Stanton Street. This District will make it easier for you to park on the street. A petition signed by Stanton residents on your street found that a majority favored restricting on-street parking to residents and guests.
The Public Hearing to establish a Preferential Parking District is scheduled to go to City Council for consideration on July 18, 2022 at 7:00 pm. at the Council Chambers. The proposed recommendation to establish a Preferential Parking District will consist of two phases: I) Stanton Street between Harrison Avenue and Edwin Avenue; 2) Sterling Street, Jayson Court, and Rex Court as shown in attached map. Phase 1 will be implemented immediately upon Council approval. Phase 2 will only be implemented at the request of local residents (with min. 75% signature support) if the parking spillover onto these smaller adjacent streets.
Parking regulations will be effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will be enforced by the City's Police Department (909.622.1241, Pomona Police Dispatch).
The Public Works Department may furnish residents with up to two (2) resident parking permits and two (2) guest parking permits at the fee of $48.49 for each parcel/residence, once approved by City Council, and implemented by City staff.
Temporary permits that allow parking for additional guest vehicles may be requested at any time at no cost from the Public Works Department located at City Hall. These parking permits will allow parking for a limited time.
You are welcome to attend the July 18, 2022 council meeting to voice any concerns regarding the propose Preferential Parking District.

Asunto: Audiencia publica para establecer el districto de estacionamineto preferencial en Stanton St. entre Harrison Av., y Edwin Av., inclyendo Jayson Ct., Rex Ct. y Sterling St.
Estimado residente,
Esta carta es para informarle que la ciudad está procediendo con la implementación del distrito de estacionamiento preferencial en la calle Stanton, este distrito le facilitará estacionar en la calle. Una petición firmada por los residents de Stanton St. descubrió que la mayoría favorecía restringir el estacionamiento callejero a los residentes y a los invitados/visita.
La audiencia pública para establecer el distrito de estacionamiento provincial está programada para que se presente al consejo municipal para cosideracion el 18 de julio 2022 a las 7:00pm en las sala del consejo.
La recomendación propuesta para establecer un distrito de estacionamiento preferencial consistiría en dos fases, 1) Stanton St. entre Harrison Av. y Edwin Av; 2) Sterling St., Jason Court y Rex Court como aparecen en el mapa adjunto.
La fase 1 se aplicará inmediatamente cuando el consejo de aprobacion. La fase 2 sólo se ejecutará a petición de la residencia local, con un mínimo de 75% de apoyo de firma si el desbordamiento de estacionamiento afecta a calles más pequeñas adyacentes.
Las regulaciones de estacionamiento serán efectivas las 24 horas del día siete días a la semana y estará patrullado por el departamento de policía. El departamento de obras públicas proveera los recidentes con dos permisos de estacionamiento para residente y dos permisos de estacionamiento para visita a un cargo de $48.49 por cada recidencia.
Una vez aprobados por el ayuntamiento y implementados, permisos temporales que permitan estacionar vehículos adicionales podrán solicitarse en cualquier momento sin costo. Estos permisos de estacionamiento permitirán estacionar por un tiempo limitado.
