RESOLUTION NO. 2022-176
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $43,250 OF GENERAL FUND RESERVES TO THE PARKS FACILITIES MAINTENANCE DIVISION WHEREAS, due to the major windstorm event in January 2022, large trees fell on the Palomares Park Community Center causing extensive damage to the roof requiring emergency repairs, WHEREAS, these repairs were expected to be completed by the end of FY 2021-22, but work carried over into FY 2022-23 necessitating this appropriation, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by appropriating $43,250 of General Fund reserves to the Public Works Department Parks Facilities Maintenance Division (101-4035-52580-00000).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by appropriating $43,250 of General Fund Reserves to the Parks Facilities Maintenance Division budget (101-4035-52580-00000) in order to fund future repairs at parks facilities for the remainder of the fiscal year.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
