RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - 206
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 OPERATIONAL BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES BY $8,208,490 AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $7,881,742 AND AMEND THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) SPENDING PLAN WHEREAS, a fiscal review is a prudent method to ensure that the City maintains a healthy financial structure.
WHEREAS, the City routinely adjusts fiscal year appropriations and revenue estimates throughout the fiscal year.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the operating and capital improvement program budgets of the City of Pomona for fiscal year 2022-23 on June 6, 2022 and all appropriations for departments or major organizational units within the General Fund and all operating funds and capital improvements programs were approved.
WHEREAS, the City Council last updated and approved the American Rescue Plan (ARP) expenditure spending plan on August 15, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Fiscal Year 2022-23 1st Quarter General Fund Fiscal Review has hereby been received and reviewed by the City Council.
SECTION 2. That the City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 City operating budget to reflect additional appropriations and revised revenue estimates for the purpose of accurately reflecting revenues/appropriations as follows:
SECTION 3. That the City Council hereby amends the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Expenditure Spending Plan as reflected in the table below:
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon be in full force and effect.
