RESOLUTION NO. 2022-205
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY UNAPPROPRIATING $30,000 OF PARK AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENT FEE FUNDS FROM “PHIL AND NELL SOTO PARK,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71040 AND APPROPRIATING THE $30,000 OF PARK AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENT FEE FUNDS TO “WESTMONT COMMUNITY CENTER ENTRYWAY TRELLIS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX 71071 WHEREAS, the City Council is prescribed as the authority by Charter of the City of Pomona (City) to adopt and amend the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; and WHEREAS, the entryway trellis structure at the Westmont Community Center is deteriorated and damaged due to age, exposure to the elements, and termite damage; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to rehabilitate the entryway trellis structure at the Westmont Community Center with “Westmont Community Center Entryway Trellis,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71071 (Project); and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide contingency funding to complete this Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by:
Unappropriating $30,000 of Park and Recreation Improvement Fee funds from the CIP Project: “Phil and Nell Soto Park,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71040 (428-2590-80721-71040, 428-2590-66196-71040); and Appropriating $30,000 of Park and Recreation Improvement Fee funds to “Westmont Community Center Entryway Trellis,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71071 (428-2590-80721-71071, 428-2590-66196-71071).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
