RESOLUTION NO. 2022-216
A Resolution OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, california, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 WATER OPERATING FUND AND THE RECYCLED WATER PROGRAM BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $347,366 OF RECYCLED WATER RESERVES WHEREAS, the City Council is prescribed the authority by Charter of the City of Pomona to adopt and amend the City’s Operating budgets; and WHEREAS, an amount of $139,381 is due for purchasing of recycled water to the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (District) for FY 2021-22; and WHEREAS, an amount of $507,985 is anticipated for purchasing of recycled water to the Districts for FY 2022-23; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the 2022-23 Water Operating Fund and the Recycled Water Program budget by appropriating $347,366 of available Recycled Water Reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Water Operating Fund and the Recycled Water Program budget by appropriating $347,366 of available Recycled Water Reserves to pay for purchasing of recycled water from the District (574-8140-53641-00000).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
