RESOLUTION NO. 2022-222
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS BY $18,240 FROM EXISTING PUBLIC ART FUND RESERVES TO ACCOUNT FOR PUBLIC ART ACTIVITIES WHEREAS, the City issued a Call for Visual Art in March 2022 with the intent of funding public art citywide; WHEREAS, the Cultural Arts Commission, in consultation with its Citizen’s Advisory Committee, has approved a list of awardees to fund for public art from the Public Art Fund; WHEREAS, City Council must approve to amend the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by Increasing Appropriations estimates by $18,240; WHEREAS, pursuant to the Pomona City Charter requires that amendments to the Adopted FY 2022-23 Fiscal Budget be approved by City Council by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The FY 2022-23 City operating budget is hereby amended to reflect changes to revenue budget and appropriations as follows:

SECTION 2. That City Council hereby amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by increasing appropriations, which represents a cumulative total of $833,332 in Public Art Fund awards.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
