RESOLUTION NO. 2022-223 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY AMENDING THE DESCRIPTION OF “CITY HALL COMPLEX REMODEL AND FLOORING,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115 AND APPROPRIATING $100,000 OF AVAILABLE GENERAL FUND RESERVES TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget by changing the project description of “City Hall Complex Remodel and Flooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115 to add the redesign of the former City Attorney’s Office at City Hall.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget by appropriating $100,000 of available General Fund Reserves to “City Hall Complex Remodel and Flooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115 to fund the initial design and preliminary work on the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by amending the description of “City Hall Complex Remodel and Flooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115 to include the following language: “Redesign of the former City Attorney office space to add four (4) workstations, two (2) offices, a large Community Conference Room, and all miscellaneous equipment.” SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $100,000 of General Fund Reserves to “City Hall Complex Remodel and Flooring,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74115 (428-2590-66196-74115, 101-2590-89987-74115 and 428-2590-80701-74115).
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
