SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF GODDESS AWARD TO COMMUNITY MEMBER CONNIE LEYVA RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council approve the Goddess Award to community member Connie Leyva for her dedication and continuous years of service to the City of Pomona.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The official Pomona City Council Goddess and Award Presentation Policy provides that a Pomona Goddess may be award to, among other things, persons who have performed continuous service that has substantially benefitted the City of Pomona.
DISCUSSION:
Under the Pomona City Council Goddess and Award Presentation Policy, Mayor Sandoval is requesting that the Pomona Goddess award be presented to community member Connie Leyva for her dedication and continuous service to the City of Pomona.
