RESOLUTION NO. 2023-17 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2022-23 CITY OPERATING BUDGET TO REALLOCATE $200,000 in Community Development Block Grant Corona Virus (CDBG-CV) Funds for BROADBAND access AT parks WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to amend the FY 2022-23 Adopted Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council must find that under the Federal guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the proposed changes are eligible uses of CDBG-CV funds will serve low- to moderate-income persons and/or areas; and WHEREAS, use of CDBG-CV funds will prevent, prepare for and respond to the effects of Corona Virus; and WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the City Council desires to allocate the unexpended CDBG-CV funds to eligible activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pomona, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the (FY) 2022-23 Operating Budget to reallocate revenue estimates and appropriate funding as follows:

Section 2. That, upon finding under the Federal guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the proposed changes are eligible uses of CDBG-CV funds and will serve low to moderate income persons.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest to the passage of this resolution and it shall thereupon be in full force and effect upon its adoption.
