A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CIP BUDGET FOR THE “PEDLEY SPREADING GROUNDS - POND ENHANCEMENTS” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-81058 BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,330,180 FROM LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT’S SAFE CLEAN WATER - REGIONAL PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING $1,330,180 OF SAFE CLEAN WATER PROGRAM (MEASURE W) FUNDS TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, in November 2018, Measure W (now called Safe Clean Water Program) was approved by Los Angeles County voters to improve water quality in a manner that achieves additional benefits such as increasing water supply and investing in the health and well-being of Los Angeles County communities; WHEREAS, on January 4, 2021, City Council approved Resolution No. 2021-03 to amend the FY 2020-21 Operating and CIP budgets to increase revenue estimates and appropriate $102,760 from Los Angeles County Flood Control District’s Safe Clean Water-Regional Program to the City’s Safe Clean Water Program Fund for the design of the Pedley Spreading Ground – Pond Enhancements; WHEREAS, on November 21, 2021, City Council approved Resolution No. 2021-162 to amend the FY 2021-22 operating budget to increase revenue estimates by $154,140 from Los Angeles County Flood Control District’s Safe Clean Water-Regional Program to the City’s Safe Clean Water Program Fund to continue the design of the Pedley Spreading Ground – Pond Enhancements.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget to increase revenue estimates by $1,330,180 from Los Angeles County Flood Control District’s Safe Clean Water-Regional Program and appropriate that amount to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81058 to continue the design of the Pedley Spreading Ground – Pond Enhancements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP budget to increase revenue estimates by $1,330,180 (142-8130-40904-81058) from Los Angeles County Flood Control District’s Safe Clean Water-Regional Program (Measure W) for Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81058 and appropriates $1,330,180 of Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) funds (142-2590-89987-81058, 428-2590-80708-81058, 428-2590-66196-81058) to “Pedley Spreading Grounds – Pond Enhancements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81058.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
