RESOLUTION NO. 2023-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY ACCEPTING, INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (HSIP) GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $244,000 TO “TRAFFIC SIGNAL – COUNTDOWN PEDESTRIAN HEADS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68563 WHEREAS, the City Council had approved Program Supplemental Agreement No. F021 for HSIP-funded project “Traffic Signal – Countdown Pedestrian Heads,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68563; Federal Project Number HSIP-5070 (037); and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $244,000 of available HSIP grant funds to “Traffic Signal – Countdown Pedestrian Heads,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68563.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California, and this City Council does hereby find, order, and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by accepting, increasing revenue estimates, and appropriating $244,000 of available HSIP grant funds (428-2590-40875-68563, 428-2590-66196-68563) to “Traffic Signal – Countdown Pedestrian Heads,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68563.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective upon its approval.
