A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING $1,100,000 OF STATE OF CALIFORNIA GENERAL FUND GRANT FUNDS TO “CIVIC CENTER PLAZA REHABILITATION,” CITY PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063, AND APPROPRIATING $36,904 OF MAYORAL CIP CARRYOVER DISCRETIONARY FUND BALANCE TO “CIVIC CENTER PLAZA REHABILITATION,” CITY PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to more fully fund for necessary design work needed for the Civic Center Plaza Project and amend the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $1,100,000 of State of California General Fund grant funds to “Civic Center Plaza Rehabilitation,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 to provide the needed funding; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide additional funding and appropriate $36,904 of Mayoral CIP Carryover Discretionary Fund Balance to “Civic Center Plaza Rehabilitation,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2022-23 CIP budget by:
Increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $1,100,000 of State of California General Fund grant funds (428-2590-40875-71063, 428-2590-66196-71063) to “Civic Center Plaza Rehabilitation,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063; and Appropriating $36,904 of Mayoral CIP Carryover Discretionary Fund Balance (418-1302-89987-72107, 428-2590-80721-71063, 428-2590-66196-71063) to “Civic Center Plaza Rehabilitation,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
