A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY ACCEPTING STP-L GRANT FUNDS, INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING $860,000 OF FEDERAL STP-L GRANT FUNDS TO “STREET REHABILITATION – DISTRICTS 1 AND 6,” CITY PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, FEDERAL PROJECT NO. STPL-5070(040), AND UNAPPROPRIATING $150,000 OF MEASURE R FUNDS FROM “STREET REHABILITATION – DISTRICTS 4 AND 5,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67922 AND APPROPRIATING $150,000 OF AVAILABLE MEASURE R FUNDS TO “STREET REHABILITATION – DISTRICTS 1 AND 6,” CITY PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, FEDERAL PROJECT NO. STPL-5070(040) WHEREAS, the project description in the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget for “Street Rehabilitation – Districts 1 and 6,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, Federal Project No. STPL-5070(040) states that there is Federal STP-L supplemental funding pending approval for the Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Pomona has requested federal aid in the form of STP-L funding for the completion of the Project; and WHEREAS, the Federal STP-L funding program recognizes the project name to be “Street Rehabilitation – Districts 1 and 6,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, Federal Project No. STPL-5070(040); and WHEREAS, the City of Pomona has allocated the required STP-L matching local funds for said Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2022-23 CIP budget by:
Accepting grant funds, increasing revenue estimates, and appropriating $860,000 of Federal STP-L Grant Funds (428-2590-40875-67931, 428-2590-66196-67931) to “Street Rehabilitation – Districts 1 and 6,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, Federal Project No. STPL-5070(040); Unappropriating $150,000 (428-2590-66196-67922, 128-2590-89987-67922, 428-2590-80864-67922) of Measure R funds from “Street Rehabilitation - Districts 4 and 5,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67922, Federal Project No. STPL-5070(038); and Appropriating $150,000 (428-2590-66196-67931, 128-2590-89987-67931; 428-2590-80864-67931) of Measure R funds to “Street Rehabilitation - Districts 1 and 6,” City Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67931, Federal Project No. STPL-5070(040).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
