RESOLUTION NO. 2023-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CHANGING THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION FOR “CITY FACILITIES – ROOF REPLACEMENT AND REPAIRS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71059 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to prioritize additional Parks facilities within the City of Pomona that require roof replacements and/or repairs and add them to the project description for “City Facilities – Roof Replacement and Repairs,” Project 428-2590-XXXXX-71059; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to remove the Pomona Public Library as a location from the project description for “City Facilities – Roof Replacement and Repairs,” Project 428-2590-XXXXX-71059 since a separate CIP project for the Library roof replacement has been previously created by City Council action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by changing the description of “City Facilities – Roof Replacement and Repairs,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71059, as follows:
a) Include additional facilities requiring roof replacements or repairs at the following locations: John F. Kennedy Park Restroom Roof (roof replacement), Westmont Park Community Center (roof replacement), and Philadelphia Park Community Center (roof replacement and repair). b) Remove the Pomona Public Library as a location since a separate CIP project for the Library roof replacement has been previously created by City Council action.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
