RESOLUTION NO. 2023-41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM FRANCHISE FEE FUNDED PROGRAMS FUND RESERVES FOR DUMPING FEES WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by appropriating $50,000 from available reserves in Franchise Fee Funded Programs to pay for required dumping fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by appropriating $50,000 from the Franchise Fee Funded Programs fund reserves (587-2505-52285-00000) to pay for required dumping fees associated with illegal dumping abatement and bulky item pick-up services.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
