RESOLUTION NO. 2023-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGETS, INCREASING THE TOTAL COST AND UPDATING THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION FOR “POLICE PARKING LOT RENOVATIONS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083 AND APPROPRIATING $466,018 OF GENERAL FUND SALARY SAVINGS AND VARIOUS AVAILABLE BOND PROCEEDS TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the Pomona Police Department desires to address much-needed parking lot renovations at three locations serving the Department: the visitor lot at the southeast corner of Mission Blvd. and Park Ave., the employee parking lot at the southwest corner of Park Ave. and 6th St., and the Department facility lot; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to utilize General fund salary savings and various available Bond Proceeds to help fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by increasing the total cost and amending the project description for “Police Parking Lot Renovations,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083 as reflected in Attachment 2.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by unappropriating $300,000 of General Fund salary savings (101-2010-51012-00000) and amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $300,000 of available General fund salary savings (101-2590-89987-71083, 428-2590-80701-71083, 428-2590-66196-71083) to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083.
SECTION 3. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $142,429 of available Series “BI (AX/AI)” bond proceeds (479-2590-89987-71083, 428-2590-80754-71083, 428-2590-66196-71083) to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083.
SECTION 4. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $17,762 of available Series “BI (AW)”bond proceeds (476-2590-89987-71083, 428-2590-80861-71083, 428-2590-66196-71083) to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083.
SECTION 5. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $2,628 of available Series “BI (AH)” bond proceeds (478-2590-89987-71083, 428-2590-80741-71083, 428-2590-66196-71083) to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083.
SECTION 6. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating $3,199 of available Series “BI (AD)” bond proceeds 497-2590-89987-71083, 428-2590-80738-71083, 428-2590-66196-71083) to Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71083.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
