RESOLUTION NO. 2023-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget by closing completed projects, releasing $602,433 OF UNEXPENDED FUNDS, re-appropriating $504,375 OF unexpended funds, and creating a new project “Traffic Operations – Communication Upgrade ii,” Project no. 428-2590-xxxxx-68581 WHEREAS, the projects listed in the attached “Exhibit A, Section 1” are included in the FY 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close twelve (12) completed CIP Projects and release the unexpended funds totaling $602,433, as detailed in the attached “Exhibit A, Section 1,” and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create a new project, “Traffic Operations – Communication Upgrade II,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68581; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to re-appropriate $504,375 of various types of funding, as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 2.” NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by closing the twelve (12) CIP Projects, as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 1,” attached hereto, and releasing/unappropriating $602,433 of unexpended Measure R, Proposition C, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Proposition A, Community Development Block Grant, Gas Tax, Measure M, SB-1/RMRA, General Fund, American Rescue Plan, and Series “BI (AX/AI)” Bond Proceeds funding, as detailed in “Exhibit A, Section 1.” SECTION 2. That the City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “Traffic Operations – Communication Upgrade II,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68581.
SECTION 3. That the City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by appropriating funding to three existing CIP Projects and one new CIP project as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 2,” attached hereto.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
